In Bewegung
Lecture Performance by Stefanie Weberhofer

The region around Mount Dachstein, eyed by a Super-8 camera: observations, created since 2022, of the landscape, of tourism, interventions into nature, and of the traces of human-induced climate change. “In Motion” is a compilation of 14 short, in-camera edited films, whose experimental images have been created by purposefully intervening into the film processing with natural substances. Stefanie Weberhofer will project the silent works herself, providing live commentary. Some of the films are dedicated to the writer and MAERZ member Bodo Hell, who has been missing on Mount Dachstein since 2024.

PRINZpod – DIE ZEIT HAT KEINE
Exhibition

For this exhibition, PRINZpod have combined older works with more recent, site-specific ones. Photo collages, architectural structures, and body pictures intertwine, opening new perspectives. Between banality and finesse, there unfolds an artistic system that permeates and rearranges everyday life. PRINZpod have been operating on a permanent exchange for over 40 years. Their work follows no linear narrative, but rather evolves from interlinked perspectives.

Its point of departure is Brigitte Prinzgau and Wolfgang Podgorschek’s shared studio apartment, a place of dialog where thoughts and work take every direction possible.
