Arrival by train
We would like to encourage climate-friendly travel, arrival and departure for Crossing Europe and would therefore recommend traveling by train.
With the ÖBB Railjet you can travel from Vienna, St. Pölten or Salzburg to Linz every half hour. From Innsbruck, the train also runs every hour. Numerous direct connections are also available from Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic (e.g. Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Zurich and Prague) to Linz.
The festival centre is only 15 minutes by foot from the main railway station and by tram it takes only 7 minutes! The festival cinemas and the festival hotels are all within a few minutes walking distance!
All information about your train connection and tickets can be found at oebb.at.
