Krankenschwester Maud hat nach einer traumatischen Erfahrung zu Gott gefunden. Ihre Frömmigkeit reibt sich bald an den hedonistischen Exerzitien der unheilbar an Krebs erkrankten Modern-Dance-Legende Amanda, die sie in deren Villa an der englischen Küste pflegt. Mauds religiöse Visionen (oder Wahnvorstellungen) werden intensiver, ihre Anbindung an die Wirklichkeit poröser: Besessen davon, Amandas Seele zu retten, geht sie bis zum Äußersten. Director's Biography
Rose Glass was born in the UK and graduated from the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield. She directed the short films “Moths”, “Storm House”, “The Silken Strand”, “Room 55”, and “Bath Time”. “Saint Maud” is her feature debut.
