Hard, Cracked the Wind

A rare departure from home turf for this proudly Cornish auteur, following a traveller's meanderings around the southern Irish coast via the enigmatic beauty of Super 8 analogue film. The clock ticks, the heart beats ...

Jenkin's latest is a genuinely haunting ghost story, one simultaneously concrete and ethereal. Past and present subtly merge via a leather writing-case found in a bric-a-brac shop. Does the poet create the poem, or vice-versa?
