Cat in the Wall

(Ines Ingerle)

Bulgarian single mother Irina is living in a social housing unit in London’s outskirts. Her life is far from idyllic: her attempts to break through as an architect are doomed to fail, as she is consumed by a draining job in a bar, as well as constant fighting with her neighbors. Until, one day, she crosses paths with a stray cat… @Cat in the Wall@ is a solid piece of social realist cinema in the footsteps of British tradition, in which a seemingly insignificant event grows into an edifying allegory on intolerance, xenophobia, and prejudice.
